The Brand Concept
Instead of further exposing the already popular and famous musicians, Land & Sea targets niche to dig deep the local indie band. Compared to the majority, the digital channel is living in a contradictory stream. It is confident and bold in its approach to entertaining the masses.
Therefore, for the identity, we will use the visualization of the land and the sea in a contradictory way. Two contrasting continents which live side by side in a harmony, cultivating each other with their own differing characteristics.
Instead of chasing for popular and famous musicians, Land & Sea targets niche to dig deep the local indie band. Compared to the majority, the digital channel is living in a contradictory stream. It is both bold and entertaining to have its own way.
Therefore, for the identity, we will use the visualization of the land and the sea in a contradictory way. Just like its name, the land and sea. They are different in characteristics, yet living side by side in a harmonious way.

The Brand Identity
Logotype
The logotype represents the conflicting characters of hard, strong, and solid ground (Land) with the fluid, elegant, and alluring movement of the water (Sea).
Even though both ‘LAND’ and ‘SEA’ use the same Sans Serif typeface, the ‘LAND’ is designed to be bold to show a solid unwavering character. The ‘SEA’ on the other hand uses the regular one to show the opposite character. The ‘&’ between them is designed to stand in Script to show the joy and pleasure that emanate between them.
Logogram & Brand Colours
The logogram is inspired by the blurry horizon of the seawater on the shore’s edge. Its gradient is simplified into a rectangle and can be used generatively. Its scheme also becomes the Land & Sea brand color.
